Content creation strategy starts even before you start your YouTube channel. Here are 4 key points you must ensure in the content strategy part before you hit the “Create” button. Don’t worry (lol…). if you already have prepared your channel. You can still implement these tips.
4 Keypoints for YouTube Content Creation Strategy
1. Research your competitors
For beginners, having good competitors is a blessing. They would have done all the hard work for you. Your competitors can be your mentors if you have the right mindset. Before opening a YouTube channel you must go through your biggest competitors' channels, not to steal ideas, but to learn new strategies and to know what your audience is consuming in recent times.
2. Decide the frequency
Frequency is the index of consistency. Frequency is nothing but the number of videos per time (in most cases week). Now, this is a most common question "How many videos should I upload in a week?" Recently there are majorly two types of content on YouTube: shorts and big videos. It is better to have as many publishes as possible per week, but not at the cost of quality and consistency. Before you start a channel, you should take some time and make a reasonable work plan for your content. Consider all the tasks you will have to perform like scripting, shooting, editing, etc. Along with that also consider counting some spare time also. Once you have a work plan ready for one video you can decide how many videos and shorts you should upload in a week or month.
The average frequency of shorts on YouTube is 7/week and the frequency for big videos is 4/month. Having a higher frequency is helpful, only and only if you are consistent with that frequency ensuring the quality.

4. Make your content plan in advance
